Carol is a descendent of clairvoyants, and thus the psychic powers have been instilled inside of her. Her two grandmothers and her three aunties were all clairvoyants. When she was younger, she was surrounded by older people, and it was at that time when she began picking up on images, messages and visions.

The main reason why Carol was propelled into this type of life was a very strange experience she had when she was only an innocent seven year old. While at home, she heard a knock on the window, and went to check but there was no one there, by the third knock, Carol grew wary, but there in front of her was a huge black cat. This cat spoke to her telling her that her destiny was to help people. Thus this is how Carol became the Psychic that she is today

One of her more prominent super natural experiences was when she visited Portugal, when she was transported back in time to the 18th Century, where she witnessed a street fight, where there was a lot of killing. She was seventeen at the time, and the city was very different from what it was now. Carol stayed in 18th Century Portugal for half an hour, not knowing how it happened to her, or even how she came back.
